No. Gift teams never create store orders. You keep one people list, export a Shopify-ready CSV or share it with the shop, and the merchant creates orders and tags them into the campaign. That cuts re-keying from messy spreadsheets — it does not write into Admin for you.
Confirmation never depends on the recipient opening anything — delivery status syncs from Shopify fulfilment. On Pro, the assigned teammate is alerted when something ships or fails. On Starter, the gift team watches the live desk. If they do check status, they see the gifter’s branded gift page.
